ABOUT

I'm Cecilia, a product designer focused on making complex products feel clear, calm, and easy to trust.

I started my career as the first designer at a crypto fintech company, designing products where users were moving real money through irreversible transactions. It was fast, messy, high pressure, and constantly changing, which taught me very quickly how to think beyond just making screens. I became obsessed with clarity, emotional friction, and the tiny interaction details that completely change how someone experiences a product.

I'm naturally very detail oriented and visually sensitive. I care a lot about pacing, hierarchy, typography, interaction feedback, and how a product feels emotionally while someone is using it. Probably to an unhealthy degree honestly.

My work usually sits somewhere between systems thinking and visual restraint. I like products that feel intentional, structured, and human without feeling cold or overdesigned.

Outside of work, I'm usually rearranging layouts for the tenth time, collecting visual references I'll probably never use, drinking too much coffee, or overanalyzing why some interfaces instantly feel trustworthy while others feel exhausting after five seconds.

Lately I've been especially interested in products people genuinely connect with and rely on emotionally, whether that's fintech, wellness, workflow tools, or entirely new kinds of digital experiences that feel more intuitive, personal, and human than what most technology looks like today.
